Menu Notes — Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 18, 2026

Menu Notes is a note-taking app for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro.

What we collect

Nothing. Menu Notes has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party services. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any of your data.

Where your notes live

Your notes are stored on your device and, if you are signed into iCloud, synced through your personal, private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit). This data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple, is tied to your Apple Account, and is not accessible to us or to anyone else. Deleting a note moves it to the app's Trash for 30 days, after which it is permanently removed; deleting the app and its iCloud data removes your notes entirely.

Notifications

The app uses silent push notifications solely so iCloud can tell your devices when notes change. These carry no content readable by us and are handled entirely by Apple's infrastructure.

Changes

If this policy ever changes (for example, if a future feature requires collecting anything), we will update this page and the app's App Store listing before that feature ships.
